About our vintage mantón collection

We invite you to own a part of Flamenco Rosario’s history by purchasing one of nine vintage mantones from the collection of Rosario Ancer, Director of the dance company.  All proceeds from the sale support the Victor and Rosario Kolstee Fund,  created to assist young people with their professional development in flamenco music and dance.

Company director, Rosario Ancer, offers this special selection of nine of her exquisite vintage mantones for sale. Each one has a story to tell. From years of scouring vintage stores and through her student Cata Balk, a vintage textile expert, Rosario collected these fine hand-crafted, silk-on-silk, double-sided embroidery, mantones.

Whether an addition to the wardrobe of flamenco dancers or as a work of art to be displayed, purchasing a mantón brings the added pleasure of supporting young people pursuing their passion for flamenco music and dance.
