Meet our 2026 Artist in Residence:

Irene Morales

Irene Morales began her studies at the Conservatorio de Granada and later continued at the prestigious Conservatorio Superior María Ávila in Madrid. During her stay in the capital, she interweaved her academic pursuits with her involvement in various projects, including those of Miguel Ángel Berna and Rafael Aguilar. In 2019, she was invited by Eva Yerbabuena to participate in Marina Heredia's "Lorca y la Pasión".

Since the age of eighteen, Irene has participated in both solo and group performances with her own company. In 2023 she was named "Outstanding Dancer" at the Madrid Choreographic Showcase, where she won five different awards. Most recently, she has been involved in various productions such as the Festival de Jerez, Danza en la Villa, and the Cante de las Minas Competition.
